Detailed Itinerary

06:00 AM – Pick up from Delhi airport or Hotel

We will send a responsible driver who will pick you up either from the hotel or the airport in a luxurious car. Soon you will be on Yamuna Expressway towards Agra a 3-hour long journey. By 09:00 am you will reach Agra and we can proceed towards our first stop of sightseeing.

09:00-09:30- Visiting the Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and this title is well deserved. Shah Jahan who was in love with his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal got it constructed after she died during childbirth. Legend has it that 25000 workers slogged for 20 years to construct this beautiful monument. Some people even mention that the hands of all those workers were cut after the construction so that they do not ever make such a masterpiece again.
The memories of their love stayed in this mausoleum and the place became famous as a symbol of eternal love. In the centre of the tomb lie the graves of both the King and Queen reminding us that love stays alive long after we are gone. On full moon night the beauty of the monument is worth seeing. However Taj remains closed on Friday and that is why our package does not apply for that day.

11:30-12:00- Pay a visit to the Agra Fort

Agra Fort is one of the most exquisitely created architectural marvels of ancient India. It was built by Akbar in the 16th century when he made Agra the capital of his kingdom. The fort remained the centre of power till the time Agra remained the capital. Apart from seeing its construction, you will also get to visit the museum which is home to the belongings of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. Have a look at the jewellery, armour and costumes that would remind you of the era gone by.
The fort is also the place where Aurangzeb imprisoned his father Shah Jahan and kept him captive. It is said that in his last days Shah Jahan was kept in the Musamman Burj a place where he could get an excellent view of the Tajmahal. Apart from the main fort the Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-am, Diwan-i-Khas, The Anguri Bagh, Khas Mahal and Mina Masjid are also places which deserve to be seen. Built 2.5 kilometers away from the Taj Mahal the Red Fort can, in other words, be described as a big palatial city.

13:30- Lunch time

After a visit to the fort, we take you to have some delicious Indian food at a five-star hotel. Apart from lunch you can also relax and make yourself comfortable before we start again. After the relaxation is done we will resume our sightseeing tour.

14:30- Visiting the Agra Marble factory

Set up in the year 1862 the purpose of creating this factory was to preserve the various art and craft forms of Agra. Open from 8am in the morning till 8 pm in the night the place will reveal to you the beauty of marble and how it can be used to create traditional artifacts. You will find many artisans working here to create beautiful masterpieces. If interested you can even shop some creative showpieces for yourself. Look around and you can also have a peek into the antiques of Mughal era which are carefully preserved here.

15:30- Final visit to Sikandara

Akbar got this monument constructed and it is a blend of Islamic, Hindu, Christian and Buddhist styles of architecture. The mausoleum gets its name from Sikander Lodhi who was the ruler of Delhi in those times. Made under careful scrutiny under the guidance of Akbar himself this is also his last resting place. Though the construction of the same was started by Akbar it was finally completed by his son Jahangir in 1613. Though only one entrance is used these days earlier there were four red sandstone gates which led to the main complex. The splendid gateway with its minarets is going to leave you spellbound and if you stay here for some time you will experience a peace and serenity which is hard to find anywhere.
The garden of this monument has been made in Char Bagh style and adds up to the mystique of the place. Not to forget the portico in front of the tomb which is lined up with beautiful paintings. Nearby is also the tomb of Jahangir's mother Mariam which can also be paid a visit.

17:00- Departure from Agra

In this Once our regular sightseeing is over we leave back towards for Delhi. In between, we would stop at a restaurant for some light refreshments. After a smooth drive hopefully, we should reach our destination by 21:30. We would then drop you off at the Airport or the hotel as per your requirement.
